Marlins Nike RBI is an invitational sports-based youth program designed to promote interest in baseball, softball, academic achievement, and social responsibility in underserved areas of South Florida. The program offers free, instructional and competitive summer baseball & fastpitch softball for youth ages 13-18. Please see age cutoffs per division below: 

• Junior Baseball: Participants League Age 13 - 15
• Participants must be born between May 1, 2009, and April 30, 2012

• Senior Baseball: Participants League Age 13 - 18
• Participants must be born between May 1, 2006 and April 30, 2012

• Softball: Participants League Age 13 – 18
• Participants must be born between September 1, 2005 and August 31, 2011

The Marlins supply uniforms, umpires and equipment to more than 650 children annually. All participants enjoy a fun and competitive summer league in addition to clinics hosted by Marlins players and alumni. Participants can also take part in our Marlins Nike RBI Winter Development Clinics at the Marlins Youth Academy at Babcock Park, an on-field recognition ceremony during RBI Night, and have access to scholarship opportunities. Through Marlins Nike RBI, participants can apply for the RBI Legacy Scholarship ($2,500) and National RBI for RBI Scholarship Recipients ($20,000).

This past summer season, our junior baseball, senior baseball, and softball division competed in the MLB RBI Southeast Regional Tournament in Jacksonville, FL.
